Section A.3 Style

The authors...
  1. use the appropriate LaTeX template for the course;
  2. adhere to mathematical style conventions, such as:
    1. using math mode for math symbols,
    2. writing sentences that do not start in math mode,
    3. not writing “two-column” proofs reminiscent of a high school geometry class,
    4. using aligned equations when a string of equations is too long for a page,
    5. using inline equations for minor mathematical manipulations,
    6. using appropriate LaTeX environments (proof, prop*, example*, etc);
  3. discern when to write an example instead of a proposition and proof;
  4. adhere to the conventions of grammar;
  5. write clearly and concisely in a way that does not obscure the logic or mathematics.
